Sitayar's spiders
Are distracted by the chance
To do their duty.

They must feel pleasure
Assembling their secrets.
A prize to bring home!

Some in that house are not so cold and uninterested as Sitayar herself.
Eventually the most. :)

Oh my god. WotN's eye in the third panel is utterly gorgeous.
So mesnerizing *_*

Huh, he would be a good catch! XD
But at first one need to dream from him...
(As I did several times, but I did not catch him.)

'The way the wind blows
is a complete mystery,
even to itself

Does it choose its direction,
or follow where chance takes it?'

I saw this in German and had a hunch on what was coming... I look at it now in English, and ohhhhh gooood... I'm on the edge of my seat! O.O

It's a bit like Arabian Nights, one story every day! If only it were 1,000 days, we'd have more comic to enjoy ;)
When I look at your art, the strangest things grab my attention; first it was the patterns in the floor, now it's the Wayfarer's hand coming out of that last panel, it's captivating!

"Does it choose its direction,
or follow where chance takes it?"

THAT's the question. And I can't anwer it for real. Do we choose or inspiration or does it come by chance? Most would say the second but we have to be prepared for it and people are inspired to do different things - depending on their personality...

So all I can say is that the WotN is a quite inspired person, quite intuitive.
:)

Well there are a lot of stories about that character, maybe I'll draw them anywhen - also with a lot of tales inside. :D

And the hand came out too thin... XD
But the impact was good so I decided not to change it.

I recently read a book by the famous street magician, Dynamo; he said that chance was 'when given opportunity meets learned skill'. I totally agree - the wind will always blow however it wants, but it's up to us if we dare to fly with it! Life gives up options, but we make the final choice ourselves.
As for inspiration, I don't think people give themselves enough credit; it's not just divine intervention. We make our own inspiration; and, more importantly, we figure out how to act on it, which is the much harder part of the task!

I can tell the Wayfarer is a savvy character; he seems to be handling everything pretty well so far, let's see if it stays that way!

Now I notice it, the hand is a little thin :P Ah well, it still looks amazing; and it draws attention to the chained restraints, which seem somehow important right now
